Healthy and Soft Whole Wheat Bread

 

The smell of fresh bread baking transforms your house into a paradise for your nose. There is something so comforting and warm about that smell, I LOVE it! This recipe is simple, healthy and so good! I use a bread machine, but you could certainly roll your sleeves up and knead and roll it out yourself also. Enjoy!

 

Healthy and Soft Whole Wheat Bread



What you need:

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 2/3 cup filtered warm water
  • 2 tbsp. coconut oil
  • 2 tbsp. agave nectar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. sea salt
  • 3 3/4 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/3 cup mix of flax seeds and millet
  • 2 1/4 tsp. active dry yeast



What to do:

Add all ingredients into the bread machine in the order they are listed. Set your bread to a whole wheat setting. Bake. Remove the bread to cool for an hour. Slice and enjoy! Simple. :)

    Wow! thanks for the post…I have been wasting money all the time buying wheat bread. My father and mother cannot eat white bread since they have heart problems….but this post will surely help me make wheat bread now…Thanks once again
